I am crazy about superheroes, my dream is to one day draw awesome comics for Marvel, but if I had to be honest with you, the task seems like a bit too much for me, and in the sheer panic of wanting something so bad but being afraid of failing, I’ve never even drawn a comic book page.
Well, since we are doing a lot of fashion and costume design these days, I thought I might as well approach superheroes from a costume perspective! Superhero costume design is not unlike regular costume design, but since the basics rules for designing superheroes is so bound to the limitations of mid 1900’s printing processes, the initial approach is a bit different.
